Family-run since 1988
One man's family recipes, shared with the world
We are specialty foods manufacturers and co-packers located in Reading, Pennsylvania — and we have been since 1988.

Our owner and president, Rajavel Jagadesan, began Palace Foods, Inc. in 1988. His dream was to share his family recipes with consumers all over the world.
Since then Palace Foods has grown into one of the top manufacturers and co-packers of Indian cuisine and ethnic specialty foods in the Northeast United States.
Today our commitment to our ethnic food roots is stronger than ever. Our Royal Cuisine, Chef Shaikh and Buena Fiesta product brands offer consumers a variety of flavorful choices. One of the reasons for the success of our company is the introduction of new items that consumers view as unique, nutritious and convenient — from the Royal Cuisine line of gourmet cooking oils and spices, to Buena Fiesta Sofrito, to the Chef Shaikh cooking sauces. Our experience requires us to settle for no less than perfection when it comes to taste.
Over the years we have seen a natural progression of Americans enjoying more and more ethnic food products. Our American Fusion brand caters to that — traditional American recipes combined with ethnic variety, encompassing everything Palace Foods has learned about the way America eats.
We invite you to sample our product line, and hope that you enjoy our products as much as we do.

Chef Shaikh
Authentic Indian cooking sauces — mild, medium and hot.

Sambar Kitchen
Ready-to-eat South Indian meals, ghee and tamarind.

Buena Fiesta

In the community
Reading is home
Palace Foods has supported the Olivet Boys & Girls Club and other Reading organisations for years. This is where our people live, and a food business is only as good as the town it sits in.
