At Palace Foods Inc., we strive to continuously support our local community. That is why our team joined efforts with our valued customer, Redner’s Warehouse Market, and the Olivet Boys and Girls Club to help spread holiday cheer! On December 13, 2019, the Palace team set forth to volunteer with Redner’s and create holiday magic within our own backyard.

What is Olivet?

Ever since 1898, the purpose of Olivet Boys & Girls Club is to serve underprivileged and at-risk youth ages 6-18. This is done through after school physical activities, educational support, and fundamental life skills programming. Their mission is to help all kids reach their full potential, which they otherwise may not without Olivet’s guiding hand.

For the last four years, Redner’s established their tradition of hosting Christmas parties to help provide a rewarding experience for local children and families alike. It began with one club and since has extended to four locations! In order to help make this possible, Palace Foods Inc. assisted in the funding of over 650 childrens’ gift wish list and other activities planned for the season. Additionally, our team sent volunteers to decorate ornaments with the kids and man stations at the events. These stations include cookie and ornament decoration, face paint, door prizes for Boys & Girls Club staff, a wrapped gift for each child, and a delicious, hot dinner with planned take home containers! We seriously LOVE our community!
